BRIX continues to grow with determination, also internationally.
During 2025, the aim is to strengthen its position as a pioneer of modern exterior brick paving systems in the Nordic market and expand its operations to Denmark and Norway, in addition to Sweden. In Sweden, BRIX has already been operating for about a year – and has made an impressive start.
A strong start in Sweden - led by an experienced team
In Sweden, BRIX products and services are offered by BRIX Sverige AB – an independent sales company focused on meeting the needs of the Swedish market. The company handles sales of BRIX products, participates in design and provides installation training for local contractors carrying out facade projects.
The business is based on strong local knowledge and an experienced team of Frej Josefsson, Pekka Ojanne and Antti Männistö, who have long experience in facade construction and brick facades in Sweden.
At the BRIX Sverige showroom in Stockholm, industry experts and designers will be able to get a comprehensive overview of the BRIX products and brick cladding system on display and discuss the technical solutions of the system. In the spring, the Finnish team and I visited the showroom and the Swedish operations on site, and we gained strong confidence that growth will be built on a sustainable basis – with several major projects already completed in Sweden.

Quality and responsibility - long-term commitment also reflected in certificates
In the Swedish market, sustainability and meeting environmental criteria are an important part of choosing building products – and BRIX Sverige has responded strongly. As part of its expansion, the company has commissioned a number of important environmental certifications that support the competitiveness and transparency of its products. The ratings achieved are impressive:
- BASTA (35/35 points) – A Swedish system that ensures that a product does not contain substances harmful to health and the environment
- SundaHus (Class A) – Building materials sustainability rating system
- Byggvarubedömningen BVB (best “smile” label) – the key environmental rating for construction products in the Swedish market, supporting green procurement
Certificates are not just a requirement – they are part of the BRIX way of doing things: ambitious, sustainable and customer-oriented.
Growth in the Nordic countries - scaling up production growth
The good start in Sweden is an encouraging sign: the market potential is many times greater than in Finland, and the model has already proven its worth. The next step is to expand BRIX Sverige’s sales to Denmark during 2025. In Norway, the aim is to activate sales during this year as well.
The growth is also supported by BRIX’s production development: the capacity of the Mjösund factory has already doubled during the year, while at the same time investments have been made in production development – such as cleanliness, safety at work, digital operating models and quality management. These developments have led to an even higher level of operations. This enables us to deliver projects on a larger scale – efficiently, with high quality and scalability.
BRIX’s vision is clear: there is a demand in the Nordic market for high-quality, energy-efficient and environmentally friendly façade solutions – and BRIX is ready to meet it.
